Kendall Coffey also earned his J.D. from University of Florida, with high honors. During law school he was the articles editor and senior student works editor for the University of Florida Law Review.

Kendall Coffey’s work for the public sector, included his time as a law clerk for the Honorable Lewis R. Morgan, U.S. Court Appeals, Fifth Circuit in 1978. In 1996, he was a U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida.
